My online shopping experience recently was an absolute nightmare, and I'm sharing it as a cautionary tale for anyone thinking of ordering glasses online. I ordered glasses on March 30th and paid for express 3-5 day shipping because my old ones broke. Day 5 came, and they were still in production. Day 10, still in production! It's now Day 19 or whatever, and I still have no glasses! This company is absolutely terrible, and they clearly don't give a crap about their customers. I felt compelled to leave this review and try to talk to customer service because I don't want any of my "four-eyed friends" to ever shop here.
Customer: I need to know what's going on with my order. I placed it on March 30th, paid for express shipping, and it's been nearly three weeks. I still have no glasses! This is unacceptable. CS Rep: I understand your frustration. I apologize for the significant delay you've experienced. I see your order status, and there was an unexpected bottleneck in production. Customer: Unexpected bottleneck? My old glasses are broken! I paid extra for express shipping to get them quickly! I was already told they were 6 days out on delivery days ago. I just want my glasses. CS Rep: You're absolutely right to be upset. This is not the service we aim for. We've already processed a refund for your express shipping. Let me escalate this and personally contact our production team to get an immediate update and push this through. Customer: So, what's the actual delivery date? Is it still six days out, or will it be another "day 19 or whatever" without them? I need a clear answer. CS Rep: I'm checking now for a precise updated delivery window and will get back to you within the hour via email with that information, along with a further discount on your next order for the inconvenience.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap and experiencing this terrible, terrible service.
