Warning! My Nightmare Online Order: Dishonest Promos & Zero Customer Service 😤

Let me share my absolutely terrible online shopping experience, hoping it serves as a cautionary tale for others. I placed an order, excited about a promotional offer, only to find the company was Dishonest, doesn't honor promos. Makes it impossible to collect offer when the site is full of glitches. No customer Service 24 hours, no agent. Unprofessional. I felt compelled to leave a review and reach out to customer service because they messed up my order's promotion, and their proposed solution was just unacceptable. Customer: I'm calling about order #XXXXX. I had a buy-one-get-one promotion that never applied, and your site was full of glitches when I tried to complete the purchase. Why wasn't my discount honored? CS Rep: I understand your frustration regarding the promotion not applying to your order. I sincerely apologize for any technical difficulties you experienced on our website. Customer: So what's the solution? You're telling me I have to Return them (even though their correct style and prescription) to RETURN AND REORDER? That's ridiculous! Simple solution? Credit back to my card used. Nah that's too easy. CS Rep: I hear your concern, and I understand that returning and reordering isn't ideal. Our system is designed to apply promotions at the time of purchase, and for a BOGO offer, a new order is the standard process to ensure the discount is correctly registered. Customer: But it's your mistake! My glasses are perfect. You want me to go through the hassle of returning and waiting for a whole new order because your site glitched and you won't just adjust the charge? This is incredibly unprofessional.
