Customer: I'm calling about order #XYZ. Your website was full of glitches, and the buy-one-get-one promotion wasn't applied, even though it was advertised. CS Rep: I sincerely apologize for the difficulty you experienced with our website and the promotion not being applied. Let me check your order details. I see the BOGO offer was indeed missed. Customer: It's infuriating. Your solution was to make me return my perfectly correct glasses and then reorder them just to get the BOGO you messed up and admitted to. Why can't you just credit the difference back to my card? That seems like the simple solution. CS Rep: I understand your frustration completely.
