My online shopping experience was a disaster, and I feel compelled to share my story as a stark warning to others. I've ordered from this site before without issues, but this time was different. Their site explicitly advertised "eligible for next day delivery," so I paid the $19.95 next-day delivery fee, expecting my glasses promptly. Imagine my shock when hours later, I received an email stating my order would take "3 business days." This blatant misrepresentation and the charge for a service not provided pushed me to try and reach customer service, a task that proved equally infuriating, involving automated lines, chatbots, and no human intervention until I pretended to place a new order. I felt I had to leave a review to highlight what I experienced as a "fraud, ripping customers off for services that they charge for and do NOT provide."

Customer: I paid an extra $19.95 for next-day delivery, but my order confirmation email explicitly states it will take 3 business days. This is unacceptable, and I've had such a difficult time even reaching a human to discuss it! Let me pull up your order details. Customer: The details are simple: I paid for next-day, and I'm not getting next-day. I need that $19.95 next-day delivery fee refunded, since you are clearly not providing the service I paid for. CS Rep: I see the charge for expedited shipping on your order. While I understand your request, refunds for shipping fees are typically handled by our billing department. I can certainly submit a request for that refund for you right away. Customer: So, you're telling me I paid for a service that wasn't provided, and now I just have to hope your billing department decides to give me my money back? This is exactly why your company has so many negative reviews.
