Next-Day Delivery Fraud! My Online Glasses Nightmare 😤💸

My recent online shopping experience was a complete disaster, and I'm sharing it as a warning. I paid for next-day delivery on glasses, only to have the company say it would take three business days. This place is nothing more than an automated business that cares nothing about its customers. They are a fraud, ripping customers off for services that they charge for and do NOT provide. After multiple failed attempts with their automated systems, I finally managed to connect with customer service, desperate for a resolution regarding the $19.95 next-day delivery fee I was clearly not getting.

Customer: I paid for next-day delivery on my order, and now I'm being told it will take three business days. This is completely unacceptable; I paid $19.95 for a service you're not providing. CS Rep: I understand your frustration, and I apologize for the delay and the discrepancy in the delivery time. Let me look into your order for you. Can I have your order number, please? Customer: It's [Order Number]. The site said "eligible for next day delivery," so why am I getting an email saying "order in process and will take 3 business days"? I just want my $19.95 delivery fee refunded. CS Rep: Thank you. I see the order. It appears there was an issue with the system updating the delivery estimate after purchase, which is indeed misleading. I completely understand why you're upset about the delivery fee. I can certainly process a full refund for that $19.95 shipping charge immediately. Customer: So, you're refunding the shipping, but when will my glasses actually arrive? I ordered on the 18th, and it's already the 24th, and they just arrived today, definitely not next-day. There were no prescription lenses, so there shouldn't have been a "production" delay. This whole experience has been incredibly frustrating. CS Rep: You are absolutely right, and I sincerely apologize for the entire experience. The refund for the shipping has been processed and should reflect in your account within 3-5 business days. We are also reviewing our website's delivery messaging to prevent this from happening again.
