Online Glasses Bait & Switch: 11-Day Delay & Chat Disconnect! đ¤
My online shopping experience was absolutely terrible, and I feel compelled to share it as a cautionary tale for anyone considering ordering glasses from this site. What I encountered was nothing short of a classic bait and switch. I paid for next-day shipping, expecting my urgent order to arrive swiftly, but was then informed it would take 11 days total. "They have reviews turned off on their website. I ordered online. I paid for next day, and my order will now take 11 days total. Classic bait and switch. Thatâs how they people to order from them, because very few do next day glasses. When I requested to speak with a manager and a phone call, the customer service representative ended the live chat. Donât waste your time if youâre in an emergency and need fast glasses. These guys will take your money then return the $20.00 bucks they took from you for next day shipping. They say I changed my prescription. Yes I did. Very next day. I was the then told my glasses shipped a day after I changed my prescription. I was told it was all set, no issues in my ends, and that they would be shipped the day after the changes. I was also told that my glasses werenât coming next day, because of a âproduction issueâ so I donât know what these dummies think theyâre saying in this response. I have screenshots. lol. I also called inside edition." This entire ordeal led me to engage with customer service, hoping for a resolution, but even that proved to be an exercise in frustration.

I see here that your order, placed with next-day shipping, has indeed been delayed due to a production issue. We sincerely apologize for this unexpected delay. Customer: Unexpected? I was explicitly told everything was set after I made a small prescription change the very next day, and that it would still ship the day after that. This feels like a bait and switch. And when I tried to discuss this earlier, the live chat representative just ended the conversation when I asked for a manager. CS Rep: I am very sorry to hear that your previous live chat was disconnected, that is certainly not the experience we want for our customers. Regarding the shipping, while the prescription change was processed quickly, sometimes production can still be affected. We can definitely refund the $20 next-day shipping fee for you right away. Customer: Refunding the $20 doesn't get me my glasses any faster, which is what I paid for! I need to know what you can actually do to expedite this, or what alternatives you can offer, beyond just giving me back the shipping fee for a service you never intended to fulfill.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap and wasting their time and money expecting fast, reliable service that simply isn't delivered.
