Let me share a terrible online shopping experience from EyeBuyDirect that I hope serves as a cautionary tale. This place is nothing more than an automated business that cares nothing about its customers. They are a fraud, ripping customers off for services that they charge for and do NOT provide. I paid for "next day delivery," but hours later received an email stating my order would take 3 business days, and it actually took from 02-18 to 02-24 to be delivered. This was for glasses with Plano lenses, so there was no "production" delay. When I tried to get my $19.95 delivery fee refunded, I encountered automated systems, live chat bots, and ignored emails. I was compelled to reach out to customer service to demand a refund for a service I paid for but never received.

Customer: Hi, I paid for 'next day delivery' on my order, but I received an email saying it would take 3 business days. And now, the actual delivery timeline for my Plano lenses shows it took from February 18th to February 24th. I need a refund for that $19.95 delivery fee. CS Rep: I understand your concern regarding the delivery timeframe, and I apologize for any miscommunication. I can submit a request for a refund of the delivery fee to our billing department for review. Customer: Submit for review? You are not providing a service I paid for. I demand my money back now. This is clearly a rip-off. CS Rep: I hear your frustration, and I understand you feel the service was not rendered as expected. Our policy requires all refund requests for shipping discrepancies to go through the billing department. They will assess the situation. Customer: But when will they assess it? I've already tried reaching out multiple times through email and chat with no response. It feels like you just hope I'll give up from pure frustration.

The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap of paying for services that are never provided, only to face an automated wall of non-existent customer service.
